The MP10-1 is a low cost, compact and lightweight eyesafe Laser Rangefinder designed to be used in tactical observation, compact airborne and land-based multi-sensor imaging systems. It provides an accurate laser rangefinder capability operating at an eyesafe wavelength of 1535nm. The MP10-1 utilises diode pumped solid state laser technology for exceptional reliability at a very low cost of ownership.
The MP10 is a self-contained unit consisting of the laser transmitter, a laser receiver as well as the power and control electronics needed to operate the MP10-1. Communication with the MP10-1 is established by means of a UART interface which forms the operational, status and maintenance interface with the MP10-1.
