The HENSOLDT radar family offers radar systems that create a comprehensive operational picture for real-time information and actionable intelligence. In difficult environmental conditions of the littoral domain, radar is the ideal technology for all-weather, day/night surveillance of wide areas. We provide radars that can detect cooperative and uncooperative targets early at longer ranges, in adverse weather conditions and high sea states.

Quadome is a three-dimensional multi-mission naval radar that punches well above its weight class for air and surface surveillance, as well as target-acquisition. Equipped with the latest technology, Quadome provides rapid response and high precision, at an excellent price-performance ratio. A new-generation radar for tactical land surveillance is in development, being designed for thes fastest response time and high hit probability, even in a complex environment with a high target density involving highly agile and asymmetric threats.

Electronic identification facilitates informed decisions at key moments. It entails integrated secure identification friend or foe (IFF) systems for aerospace and naval use. Hensoldt’s innovative IFF systems give users the security, confidence and assurance to make correct, real-time decisions without hesitation – a critical requirement in active combat.​

Our advanced systems and interrogator products are produced for naval and land-based air defence radar and weapons systems. We also have a versatile range of IFF transponders for various airborne, unmanned air vehicle and maritime applications.​

We offer unique national secure mode solutions by providing cryptographic computers and crypto data management systems through technology transfer and training.

Hensoldt provides data link products, solutions and services to both Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and manned aircraft operators and system integrators using its own innovative product set combined with selected system components. This flexibility ensures best fit between the communication requirement and the solution provided.​

The data link solution enables high data throughput Internet Protocol (IP) based communication with low latency, ideally suited for the transmission of multiple high definition video streams over a distance up to 250 km line of sight. The solution includes H.264 video encoding capability for Standard and High Definition Video and AES-256 encryption. Several interface options are available to cater for a wide range of applications.
