The GOSHAWK-II Airborne Surveillance System is designed for installation on unmanned aerial vehicles and light fixed and rotary wing aircraft to provide surveillance and targeting capabilities for military, border and maritime patrol and law enforcement missions.
The GOSHAWK-II is centered around a fully integrated, 14-inch class Stabilised Turret Assembly, providing high stabilisation.
The Sensor Payload comprises a 3rd Generation Thermal Imager (MWIR) and a HDTV Camera, both featuring continuous optical and electronic zoom capability.
An internal Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and GPS enable accurate GEO-location of ground targets and steering or tracking of the system’s line of sight to pre-defined GPS locations, providing commanders with real-time intelligence in areas of operational interest while the integral Autotracker function provides tracking of moving or static targets in the line of sight.
